Phil Baroni signs with Canada's XMMA Promotion

Phil “New York Bad Ass” Baroni has signed to fight for XMMA 7 on Feb 27th, in Montreal against Canadian rising superstar Guillaume de Lorenzi. The winner of this matchup looks to get to the UFC as XMMA’s 7th installment takes place at the Bell Center as they look to take over the void left by TKO’s departure from the Canadian scene in 2008.

Sweet! I hope he does well over there. I also hope they televise it!! I actually met him and talked to him in Hawaii, when he was helping Akebono promote the K-1 Event which he was hosting. Best part? He was coming out of a fight the previous evening with a 1 Round 11 second KO, and nobody recognized him!!
