Phil Baroni likely for Strikeforce event in Seattle

UFC, PRIDE and EliteXC veteran Phil Baroni (13-10) will return to action for Strikeforce in an as-yet-unannounced May event in Seattle.

Baroni released the information through a post on the Underground, a popular mixed martial arts message board. MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned from sources close to the bout that contracts have not yet been finalized for the appearance.

Baroni's potential opponent for the card has not yet been determined, though the bout would be contested in the welterweight division.
