Brett Rogers vs. "Abongo" Humphrey finalizes April 11 Strikeforce card

A heavyweight contest between undefeated fighters Brett Rogers (8-0) and Ron "Abongo" Humphrey (5-0) will fill the final television slot on Strikeforce's "Shamrock vs. Diaz."

FiveOuncesOfPain.com first reported the possibility of the contest, and Strikeforce executive Mike Afromowitz informed MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that bout agreements were finalized earlier today.

The main card of the April 11 event will air live on Showtime.

The bout will be the first appearance for one-time EliteXC contender Rogers since a May 2008 knockout win over Jon Murphy in the opening bout of the CBS-broadcast "EliteXC: Primetime." A winner of his first eight career bouts, the Team Bison fighter has earned seven wins by knockout or TKO.
