Originally posted on proMMA.info

PRO MMA’s (promma.info) Tim Thompson spoke with Martin “The Hitman” Kampmann (14-2) yesterday regarding his upcoming fight with former WEC Welterweight Champion, Carlos Condit (22-4), at UFC Fight Night 18 set for April 1st in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kampmann is currently 5-1 in the UFC with his only loss coming from Nate Marquardt (28-8-2) at UFC 88. Kampmann has wins in the UFC over Alexander Barros, Jorge Rivera, Drew McFedries, Crafton Wallace, and number one middleweight contender, Thales Leites.

Kampmann has only gone to decision one time in his career and it was a unanimous win over Thales Leites at The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale. Coincidentally, his upcoming opponent, Condit, also has only one decision (a loss).

Kampmann shares his thoughts on how he feels he matches up with Condit, what fans can expect to see when the two face off in the Octagon, why he dropped to welterweight, and many more topics.
