Affliction's Jay Hieron vs. Jason High fight to air on Friday's "Inside MMA"

A welterweight match-up between former IFL champion Jay Hieron and Jason High that didn't broadcast at "Affliction: Day of Reckoning" because of time constraints will air in its entirety on Friday's new installment of "Inside MMA" on HDNet.

The fight was originally slated for the Jan. 24 event's HDNet-televised preliminary card.

However, the swing bout didn't take place until after the night's main event between Fedor Emelianenko and Andrei Arlovski -- after the pay-per-view broadcast had also concluded.

The fight, though, was one of the night's best and ended in dramatic fashion.

High (6-1) entered the bout with a perfect 6-0 record and owned previous victories over UFC veterans Kevin Burns and James Giboo. However, Hieron (17-4) earned his fifth consecutive victory when he dramatically knocked out his opponent just 64 seconds into the fight.

Hieron will appear on Friday's installment of "Inside MMA" as a panelist with veteran Tank Abbott and current UFC light heavyweight and former WEC light heavyweight champion Steve Cantwell. "Inside MMA" debuts Friday at 9 p.m. ET.
